Win your way to Trucking Australia 2015 with Cummins South Pacific

06 February 2015

Thanks to Cummins South Pacific, three people will receive free registration, flights and accommodation to attend Trucking Australia 2015, where they will share their suggestions on how to improve recruitment, safety or viability in the trucking industry.

Trucking Australia 2015 will be held in Hobart, Tasmania from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 March 2015.

Each prize includes:

  • one full delegate registration to Trucking Australia 2015
  • three nights’ standard accommodation at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart; and
  • one return economy airfare to Hobart from any Australian capital city.

The competition is open to all Australian trucking operators and their employees.

To enter, tell us in 100 words or less the views you would contribute and the experiences you would share in the workforce recruitment, safety, or viability sessions at Trucking Australia 2015.

Send your answer along with your name, company, position and contact details to ataevents@truck.net.au. All entries must be received by 5pm on Monday 23 February 2015.

2014 Cummins winner Naomi Milne said Trucking Australia was an exceptional opportunity to network and have your say.

“The trucking industry is more like a family that you want to have that once-a-year get together with. Trucking Australia facilitates this professionally with heaps of fun included,” she said.

“The program offered was interactive and structured, which allowed for views and sentiments to flow.  It was made truly memorable being able to see Directhaul win the John Kelly Award, whom I had been the HSE Senior Advisor for.”

At Trucking Australia 2015, everyone in the trucking industry is invited to contribute their views and help develop industry action plans through open forum sessions.

Attendees will also take part in an interactive workshop on fuel security, taking the role of government officials, fuel suppliers and trucking businesses to explore the implications of a fuel emergency and how businesses could respond to an unexpected interruption in fuel supply.

The competition winners will be contacted by phone and published in the ATA’s Friday Facts newsletter on Friday 27 February. For the full competition terms and conditions or more information, go to www.truckingaustralia.com.au.
